ELMORE COURT ESTATE (October 2011 - January 2014)

Business Manager

Elmore Court is a grade II* listed building that dates from 1580, and the Guise family have lived on the land since 1274. Anselm Guise, the current owner (and previous Director of The Glade festival) developed the run down estate into the very special weddings and events venue it has become today. Elmore Court was traditionally the family’s country estate used for gatherings, parties and celebration and this energy has continued into the present day. It is now booked up two years ahead and has gained an extremely good reputation in the wedding industry.

Jenna started working with Anselm in 2011 when the Estate was in serious disrepair and a state of dilapidation. She wrote a feasibility report identifying the business options for the Court moving forwards, which later developed into a Business strategy she also wrote. As soon as decisions had been made on the future of Elmore she project managed the developments and extensive build and refurbishments work as well as undertaking the financial management and bookkeeping of the project and the future business. Once the build was in the late stages she focused on the client liaison side of the new business, setting up client management systems and working on the promotion of Elmore as an events venue. Being content that the business was up and running she then returned full time to her passion of event production.
