The Energy Revolution charity is an initiative that works with festivals and their audiences to make the events industry in the UK more sustainable and environmentally focused.

Energy Revolution works by crowdsourcing donations from festivalgoers and investing these in clean energy to tackle climate change and help create a sustainable future.

Audience travel makes up around 70% of a festival’s carbon footprint, so to balance this 100% of donations are invested in producing clean and renewable energy, replacing dirty fossil fuels with wind and solar power.

Energy Revolution launched in February 2015 with ten pioneer festivals including Bestival, Camp Bestival, Wilderness, Shambala, Secret Garden Party, Boomtown, Kendal Calling and Standon Calling.

Jenna was instrumental in establishing the charity through being the relationship manager with potential partner festivals, managing communications with festival audiences, co-designing the website, writing the copy for the website, setting up and managing the Trustee Board and Trustee meetings, writing all documents relating to the charity, and registering and administering the charity
