SECRET GARDEN PARTY FESTIVAL (2008 – 2015)
Producer and Manager
The Secret Garden Party was one of the UK’s most established festivals and was at the vanguard of forming festival culture over 12 years. What started as a small birthday party for friends evolved into a world renowned sell out show, which pushed every creative boundary and put on the best party in the UK every year.
Jenna was involved with SGP since the early days, and produced different elements of the show every year from 2008-2015. This festival playground was where she cut her teeth in the festival industry. In 2008 she was Assistant Production Manager for the festival, and between 2009-2011 she produced and ran the healing area and world music stage, which attracted artists from around the world. From 2011-2013 she produced and ran the hedonistic Black Cat Bar where Jarvis Cocker played a secret gig back to back with Too Many DJs…a career highlight.
In 2009 she also started the first ever festival restaurant - Soul Fire, which continued running until 2015 (7 years). Each year she evolved the restaurant through designing everything from the space and aesthetic to the food and drink menus. She managed up to a £35k budget and 200 crew, and was the POC for health and safety, welfare, sound (licensing) and security.
